The Alkohit AH 69 is a professional device used to self measurement of Ethyl Alcohol concentration from a valid breath sample. The Alkohit is the only instrument on the world for individual users at such a attractive price, which offer uncompetitiveness, accurate and repeatable readings.
For the first time personal alcohol tester employs the same electrochemical sensor- which has been used in all police breathalysers so far. The major features are repeatability, high accuracy of results, a bright and highly visible display which shows the readings three digits after the decimal point ( 0.001 increment) and a high measurement range –to 6,300 promila!
In the past the only breathalysers available for the individual user were those which had a built-in semiconductor sensor which can be bought for between 2-180 euros. These devices are sensitive to such features as: ambient temperature, humidity, food and so on which are unable to eliminate . Due to the negative effects of the above factors the semiconductor alcohol testers can not be treated as accurate devices for measuring the level of alcohol from a breath sample.

Electrochemical breathalysers ( with a built in electrochemical sensor) have previously only been used in police breathalysers. The main reason was the price which is between 700 and 2000 Euros (for portable alcohol testers) which caused that they were too expensive for individual users.
